Moloke Primary School in the Sekhukhune District received a new computer and media laboratory during a science and education imbizo on 24 March 2023.
The facility was described as an off-grid centre designed to help learners build foundations in science, technology and innovation. Its independent power model was intended to keep digital learning available even where ordinary infrastructure is constrained.
The handover positioned Moloke Primary as a resource for its own learners and the surrounding education community. A working laboratory can turn abstract technology lessons into hands-on practice and give young learners earlier contact with tools used in further study and work.
