Spa Park Primary School in Bela-Bela received 30 tablet devices on 6 November 2020 through a partnership involving the Embassy of Belgium and the School in a Box project.
The tablets were preloaded with English and Mathematics material and designed to move with teachers from class to class. The official handover said learners from Grade 1 to Grade 6 could use the equipment, with about 1,320 children and 30 teachers expected to benefit.
The donation arrived while schools were still rebuilding ordinary teaching after pandemic closures. At Spa Park Primary, the portable model offered a practical way to share limited devices across many classes instead of reserving technology for a single computer room.
