What this role involves
This is a classroom teaching post focused on Coding & Robotics, Computer Applications Technology. You will plan and teach lessons, assess and record learner progress, support learners who need intervention, manage the classroom and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Plan, prepare and teach Coding & Robotics, Computer Applications Technology in line with the applicable IEB requirements.
- Assess learners, record results and use progress information to guide support and next steps.
- Create a purposeful, well-managed classroom and provide appropriate learner support.
- Complete the academic and administrative records connected to your classes and subjects.
- Take part in school, professional-development and relevant extra- or co-curricular activities.

- Teaching focus: Coding & Robotics, Computer Applications Technology.
- Plan teaching, pacing and assessment against the applicable IEB requirements.
- For technical or digital subjects, expect substantial practical application, problem-solving, correct technical conventions, safe use of equipment and assessment of both knowledge and practical competence.

Qualifications
University qualification and certified teaching status.
Experience
Proven experience teaching Computer Applications Technology and Coding & Robotics; prior IEB experience and at least four years of teaching experience are advantageous.
SACE requirement
SACE accreditation required.
