What this role involves
This is a classroom teaching post focused on CAT, Information Technology, Mathematics, Grades 10, 11, 12, 8, 9. You will plan and teach lessons, assess and record learner progress, support learners who need intervention, manage the classroom and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Plan, prepare and teach CAT, Information Technology, Mathematics, Grades 10, 11, 12, 8, 9 in line with the applicable curriculum requirements.
- Assess learners, record results and use progress information to guide support and next steps.
- Create a purposeful, well-managed classroom and provide appropriate learner support.
- Complete the academic and administrative records connected to your classes and subjects.
- Take part in school, professional-development and relevant extra- or co-curricular activities.

- Teaching focus: CAT, Information Technology, Mathematics, Grades 10, 11, 12, 8, 9.
- Grades covered by the post: 10, 11, 12, 8, 9.
- For Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, expect structured problem-solving, clear conceptual development, regular practice, formal assessment and targeted support based on learner performance.
- For technical or digital subjects, expect substantial practical application, problem-solving, correct technical conventions, safe use of equipment and assessment of both knowledge and practical competence.

Qualifications
BEd, or a suitable degree plus PGCE.
Experience
Experience teaching Mathematics and CAT/ICT at high-school level.
SACE requirement
